Es un lenguaje com\u00fan de abastecimiento para la denominaci\u00f3n, clasificaci\u00f3n, descripci\u00f3n y numeraci\u00f3n de los art\u00edculos que entran en los sistemas de abastecimiento de las Fuerzas Armadas.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Sistema OTAN de Catalogaci\u00f3n (SOC) facilita la interoperabilidad entre pa\u00edses usuarios. Busca garantizar que un mismo art\u00edculo sea conocido por una misma y \u00fanica denominaci\u00f3n y un mismo y \u00fanico N\u00famero OTAN de Cat\u00e1logo (NOC)<\/span><\/p>\n

Mediante su implementaci\u00f3n se maximiza el apoyo log\u00edstico de la manera m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mica posible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Para todos los contratos de adquisici\u00f3n de materiales que formalicen las Fuerzas Armadas espa\u00f1olas, el Ministerio de Defensa establece que es obligatorio considerar la catalogaci\u00f3n de los mismos como paso inicial para su posterior gesti\u00f3n log\u00edstica, lo que se exige de los contratistas nacionales y extranjeros.<\/span><\/p>\n

La catalogaci\u00f3n OTAN proporciona un sistema estandarizado para identificar y catalogar los art\u00edculos relacionados con la defensa, lo que ayuda a mejorar la log\u00edstica y la gesti\u00f3n de la cadena de suministro.s.<\/p>\n
